Tvrznik Eliminates Gjergji

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Lazer Gjergji limped under the gun and Paulina Rimkute also limped in the next position. Willem de Jong raised to 2,000 and the player in the cutoff called. Roman Tvrznik called in the big blind, and he was joined by the two limpers.

"I need a miracle," said Gjergji as the flop came {4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. It checked to de Jong who bet 6,000 into a pot of 10,000. The cutoff folded, Tvrznik called from the big blind and Gjergji called too. Rimkute folded.

The turn was the {9-Clubs}. Tvrznik checked.

"The miracle is here," said Gjergji moving all in for around 10,000.

Tvrznik turned over {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush and announced call. Gjergji showed {5-Clubs}{8-Clubs} also for a flush, but with a redraw to a straight flush.

"Come on six!" he said, but the river was the {a-Clubs}, improving both players but not enough to save Gjergji from elimination.

Karol Radomski Triples Up

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Karol Radomski raised to 1,200 from middle position and the player on the button three-bet to 3,400. The big blind cold-called and Radomski moved all in for 6,025. The button and big blind both called.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} and the big blind checked to the button who bet 10,000. The big blind pulled a face and mucked.

The big blind showed {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Radomski turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The turn was the {7-Clubs} giving the big blind a gutshot draw to go with his pair of eights, but the river was the {4-Clubs}. Radomski tripled up to around 20,000.

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Paolo Madaudo
Paolo Madaudo

On the three-way flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Paolo Madaudo in the big blind faced the all in of Deividas Ciakas from under the gun for 7,475 and Antonie Zanchetta shoved for double of that. Madaudo called and put two opponents at risk.

Deividas Ciakas: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Antonie Zanchetta: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Paolo Madaudo: {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Madaudo asked for low cards, and his wish was partly granted with the {3-Spades} turn. However, the {Q-Spades} river paired the board and Ciakas tripled his short stack and Zanchetta hit the rail.

Rimkute Busts Bakker

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Yordy Bakker was spotted while leaving his chair while his {7-}{2-} were rushed into the muck. Paulina Rimkute still had {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} tabled and the pot was shipped to her. According to Rimkute, she raised and called the three-bet of Bakker. An ace-high flop was followed by a ten on the turn and Bakker picked up a gutshot, and went with it.

Rimkute needed some time for the call and did so with top pair to send an opponent to the rail. Below are further assorted chip counts.

Eleftherios Eliminates Targa

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

A player in middle position raised to 1,000 and the player in the hijack and Michael Eleftherios in the cutoff both called. Petr Targa was on the button and moved all in for just 3,500. The big blind cold-called, and the other three players in the hand all called.

The four remaining active players checked the {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop and after the big blind checked, the initial pre-flop raiser bet 5,500 on the {3-Diamonds} turn. The hijack folded and Eleftherios moved all in for 18,900. The big blind folded and the initial raiser folded also.

Targa: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Eleftherios: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Eleftherios had turned a flush, but Targa had the redraw to a better flush holding the {a-Diamonds}. The river was the {j-Clubs} and despite Targa crying out "Jack!" he smiled and left the tournament area.

Riczak Shows Aces

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

The rich get richer over on table 79 as Trong Hieu Nguyen just forfeited a portion of his stack to Michal Riczak.

A three-bet to 3,100 was in front of Nguyen in the small blind and Riczak four-bet to 7,700 in the big blind. The initial raiser had already folded and Nguyen called. Both players chercked the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and Nguyen check-folded the {4-Spades} turn to a bet of 5,400.

Riczak tapped the table and flashed his {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}.
