2025 Onyx Super High Roller Series
Jovan Kenjic shoved the hijack for 365,000, and Timo Vogt called for his stack of 340,000 from the button.
Timo Vogt: A♣Q♠
Jovan Kenjic: A♦8♣
Vogt had the better ace and looked likely to double up, unless an unfortunate runout fell.
Kenjic took the lead on the 10♠J♦8♠ flop by improving to a pair of eights. However, Vogt turned Broadway when a K♠ landed on the turn. Kenjic couldn't find a chop on the K♦ river, and almost all of his stack headed over to Vogt.
Kenjic was unable to make a comeback with just a few big blinds and was eliminated a short time after.
Raoul Kanme opened the button to 65,000, and Christopher Puetz three-bet to 250,000 out of the big blind. Kanme took some time before he ripped in around 1,100,000. Puetz snap-called.
Raoul Kanme: A♣8♣
Christopher Puetz: A♥K♠
Kanme was dominated, and his situation went from bad to worse as the 6♠7♠K♦ flop paired Puetz's king. The 3♠ left Kanme drawing dead, and the meaningless 3♣ filled out the board, which sent Puetz's stack soaring to nearly 3,000,000.
Xuming Qi opened from under the gun and Abdullah Ahmad jammed for 430,000 from the hijack. Qi made the call to put Ahmad at risk when it folded back to him.
Abdullah Ahmad: Q♦J♠
Xuming Qi: A♠K♠
Qi's Big Slick took a commanding lead on the K♣5♥2♦ flop by improving to top pair. Ahmad was drawing dead after the 7♠ came on the turn, and when an inconsequential 9♦ dropped on the river, and all of Ahmad's stack headed over to Qi.
Level: 19
Blinds: 15,000/30,000
Ante: 30,000
Fahredin Mustafov raised to 50,000 from the button before being immediately three-bet to 175,000 by Hao Tian out of the small blind. Moussa Ahmad committed his last 60,000 from the big blind, and Mustafov folded.
Moussa Ahmad: 8♣3♣
Hao Tian: A♣9♦
Ahmad fell further behind on the 6♦9♣4♦ flop as Tian hit top pair, but he picked up a flush and straight draw when the 7♣ landed on the turn. The 4♣ on the river completed his flush, and he tripled up.
Aren Bezhanyan made it 50,000 from middle position and Michael Mizrachi called on the button before Gregoire Auzoux shoved 280,000 from the big blind. Bezhanyan quickly folded, and Mizrachi snap-called.
Gregoire Auzoux: A♥10♥
Michael Mizrachi: K♦K♣
The world champion was getting sneaky with kings, and it paid off as the J♦3♥J♠8♥9♦ runout couldn't help Auzoux.
With around 450,000 in the pot, Robert Burlacu checked the flop of 3♦9♦8♥ from the big blind, and Hassan Nashar bet 300,000 out of the cutoff.
Two checks followed the 9♥ turn to see the Q♥ roll off on the river. Burlacu led out for 215,000, which Nashar instantly called.
Burlacu revealed a full house with 8♠8♦, causing Nashat to muck. After the hand, Nashar stated he had pocket aces.
