Hou Gets it Through

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action folded to Tri Van in the hijack, and he raised to 600. He was called by both the small blind Boris Kravets, and the big blind Zhenjie Hou.

After the Q67 flop, it checked to Van who bet out 400, and both Kravets and Hou quickly called.

The turn brought the 4 and after Kravets checked, Hou led out for a bet of 1,600. Van called, and Kravets folded to leave the players heads up.

After the 2 on the river, Hou bet again, this time for 4,200. Van wasted little time and tossed his hand in the muck, to give the pot to Hou.

Machen's River Barrel Gets Through

John Machen opened the action from the hijack with a raise to 700. The cutoff, button, small and big blind all came along for the call.

Machen continued for 1,200 on a monotone K10J flop and only the small blind player made the call.

The turn 2 hit the felt and Machen fired 4,400. Once again his opponent flicked in a chip for a call.

Machen asked for 11,000 of the small blind's chips on the 6 river but his opponent released his hand back to the dealer.

Grabel Sits Down and Takes a Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action folded to Boris Kravets in the cutoff, and he raised to 400. He was called by Zhenjie Hou on the button, before Kevin Grabel, who just sat down at the table three-bet to 1,800 from the big blind. Kravets folded, and Hou made the call.

After the 4J7 flop, Grabel bet out 1,600, which forced Hou to fold and give the pot to Grabel.

Machen Hangs on With Second Pair

John Machen limped in from under the gun before a player in middle position raised to 700. Machen made the call.

Middle position continued for 400 on JA9 and Machen made the call.

The turn 4 came down and middle position wagered 2,400. Once again Machen called.

Action went check-check on the 2 river and Machen scooped the pot with QJ.

Van Takes It Down

Action folded to Tri Van on the button, and he raised to 700. The small blind folded, and Sean Lasalle defended the big blind.

The flop came Q46 and Lasalle check-called a bet of 1,000 from Van.

Both players checked after the 5 on the turn.

The river brought the J and Lasalle checked to Van, who bet out 1,300. Lasalle mucked his hand to give the pot to Van.

Disante Picking Up Aggression

John Disante opened the action from early position with a raise to 600. The small blind called and the big blind defended.

Disante continued for 1,000 on 6A8 before the small blind raised to 2,000. Disante called.

The small blind checked the 9 over to Disante who fired 5,000. The small blind folded the A face up and Disante dragged in the pot without having to see a river card.

Price's Three-Bet Forces Aces to Fold

Joseph Cutler raised to 300 under the gun, before Gerald Johnson three-bet to 800 from the cutoff. Donald Price in the small blind called, as did Cutler.

The flop came J610 and Price led out for a bet of 1,200. Cutler called, before Johnson raised to 4,500, and Price quickly three-bet to 12,200. Cutler folded, and Johnson went into the tank. After nearly a minute in the tank, Johnson painfully tossed AxAx into the muck, giving the pot to Price. After the hand Price showed 6x6x for a set of sixes, to let Johnson know he made a good fold.

Daconti Loses the Minimum After Cooler Flop

Bogdan Berdej opened the action from early position with a raise to 300. Daniel Daconti called in the cutoff along with the button and both blinds.

Berdej continued for 1,500 on 628 and only Daconti made the call.

The turn 3 peeled off and and Berdej fired 3,000. Daconti called.

Berdej wagered 5,000 on the Q river and Daconti quickly called. Berdej flipped over 66 and it was good against Daconti's 22.
