Atallah Takes On the Big Stack

Michel Atallah quickly jumped back into the field after losing the massive three-way all in to George Iota earlier and soon after found himself tangled in a pot with another big stack, Yilu Yuan.

Atallah raised to 2,500 in early position, Yuan three-bet to 9,100 in the small blind, and Atallah called. Yuan checked the K♥K♦8♠ flop and Atallah bet 10,000. Yuan called.

The turn was the A♦ and Atallah bet another 25,000. Yuan this time raised to 60,000 and Atallah quickly called. Yuan checked the 7♥ river and Atallah fired out 75,000.

Yuan gave up the pot and Atallah raked in the chips as he's nearly tripled his stacking stack on his second bullet.

Sergey Fedotov raised to 2,500 under the gun and received three callers, including Louis Diab in middle position, Viktor Iarilov in the small blind, and a player in the big blind.

Action checked to Diab on the K♠8♠7♣ flop and he bet 10,000. Only the big blind called and both players checked the 2♠ turn.

The river was the 6♠ and the big blind led out for 21,000. Diab called and his opponent showed K♦9♦ for a pair of kings. Diab had K♥J♠ for a flush and took down the pot.

Michel Atallah had his last 95,000 in the middle from the big blind on a flop of 7♠4♥3♦, George Iota moved all in for 127,800 in the cutoff, and Atilla Saracoglu put them both at risk to create a pot worth more than 300,000.

Iota was ahead with his set of fours, while Atallah had a straight draw and Saracoglu top pair. The board ran out 2♥A♥ and Iota won the pot, sending Atallah to the rail while earning him a massive double up off Saracoglu that made Iota one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Khordbin Keeps the Pressure on Venneri

Hadi Khordbin raised to 2,500 in early position before Michel Habib three-bet to 5,000 in the cutoff. Antonino Venneri called in the big blind as action went back on Khordbin, who four-bet to 25,000. Only Venneri called.

The flop came 4♦3♦2♣ and Khordbin bet another 20,000. Venneri again called and the K♣ fell on the turn. Khordbin then bet 50,000.

Venneri spent a minute counting out his stack before tapping the felt and surrendering the pot to Khordbin.
