Bullen Binks on Gumila

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, Greg Baird bet 10,000 under the gun, Randy Bullen jammed for 47,000 and Jerry Gumila called on the button. Baird let it go and it was Gumila's {5-}{5-} against {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

The {6-Hearts} turn gave Bullen a flush and the {4-Spades} river kept him best.

Hudson Heads Home

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Michael Hudson
Michael Hudson

Michael Hudson had opened on the button for 7,000 and was facing a shove from Nick Pupillo in the small blind. Hudson had around 50,000 back and he thought about 30 seconds then slid it in.

Michael Hudson: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Nick Pupillo: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The {2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board did nothing for Hudson and he headed out.

Miles Gets Some Value

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

TK Miles defended his big blind from a middle-position opener then check-called a bet on {4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Both players checked the {5-Hearts} and Miles bet 17,000 on the {3-Clubs}. His opponent called and he flicked in {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}, which was a winner.

Stammen's Ace Good

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a board of {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Clubs}, a player in the big blind bet 12,500 into Keven Stammen, in the cutoff. Stammen called and they both checked the {3-Spades}. The big blind showed {5-}{5-} but Stammen had it beat with {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

Updated Chip Counts

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Oleh Ferkalyuk got the last 30,000 or so in with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} but ran into an opponent with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The board ran out {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Spades} and Ferkalyuk hit the rail.

Ferrer Turns a Cinch

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Bret Martin had 22,000 in front of him under the gun, as did a player in the cutoff. Small blind Geoffrey Ferrer was all in for 40,700 and action was on Martin. He wound up folding, but the cutoff called with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Ferrer was behind with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} but the {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop was a good start, bringing him a flush draw. The {2-Spades} made it a quick sweat as Ferrer locked up the double early.
