Huge Double for Davies Against Addamo

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante
Davies vs Addamo
Davies vs Addamo

Seth Davies opened to 15,400 from the under-the-gun position and Michael Addamo called. Both players checked the {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and Addamo then bet the {9-Clubs} turn for 80,500 into 51,450, which Davies called.

Addamo then jammed the {7-Spades} river for 589,198 and Davies tank-called for 334,634.

Addamo revealed the {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a bluff gone wrong and Davies soared to the top with the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Watson Back From the Brink

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante

Mike Watson rivered a double against Chi Zhang and then looked up the jam by Connor Drinan while in the small blind.

Connor Drinan: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Mike Watson: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Both players flopped a pair on the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board, which sent Drinan to the rail.

Down to Four Tables For Now

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante

Jason Koon raised the button to then call the jams by "bigdad" in the small blind and Isaac Haxton in the big blind.

Isaac Haxton: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
"bigdad": {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Jason Koon: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Koon flopped the top set on {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the {9-Spades} turn left "bigdad" drawing dead. Haxton picked up a gutshot but missed that too, as a blank {5-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Moments later, Sam Greenwood departed to see the third Canadian flag in the GGPoker client wave goodbye in a matter of seconds.

One Late Entry and Two Bustouts

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante

Canada's "bigdad" jumped in late to make it 97 entries while two players departed.

Joakim Andersson jammed a short stack from under the gun with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Ami Barer looked him up from the button with the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. The {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board gave Barer tens full.

Luke reeves then check-called three barrels on a {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board including for his last chips on the river with {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Kyle Menard barreled the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, which made the nuts on the river.

Adams and Salas Depart

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante
Bonomo vs Adams
Bonomo vs Adams

The pace of preflop showdowns hasn't slowed down for a while and yet another duo departs within moments from each other on different tables.

Timothy Adams clashed with Justin Bonomo, who had the best of it with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} versus {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. There was no upset on the {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades} board.

Damian Salas then got his short stack in with the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Eelis Pärssinen's {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} held on a board of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Schemion Eliminated by Foxen

Another two players depart at the same time.

"Great Pretender" lost a flip to Daniel Dvoress when the latter rivered a straight.

For Ole Schemion, the exit came in a preflop showdown with Alex Foxen.

Ole Schemion: {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Alex Foxen: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Schemion took the lead on the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop but the {9-Clubs} turn left him drawing dead, the {9-Hearts} river became a formality.

Watson Scores a Double

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante

Down to the final 38,463, Mike Watson jammed from the hijack and Chi Zhang isolated out of the small blind.

Mike Watson: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Chi Zhang: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The kicker played on the {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Spades} board to keep Watson in contention.

David Coleman was not as fortunate and busted at the same time on another table.

Bonomo Survives Against Adams

Level 16 : 2,750/5,500, 650 ante

Justin Bonomo is one of several players on the third bullet and he avoided another re-entry for now.

Bonomo was at risk with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Timothy Adams looked him up from the button with the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The board brought {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Bonomo caught a four-card flush.
