Bertilsson Remains Active

Francesco Grieco raised to 85,000 and claimed the blinds and antes. Then, Anton Bertilsson raised to 85,000 from the small blind and Grieco called in the big blind. The Italian took a few minutes to fold the {2-Clubs} {6-Spades} {10-Diamonds} flop to a continuation bet of Bertilsson.

One hand later, Bertilsson raised to 85,000 from the button and Jonathan Wong called in the big blind. On the {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {8-Spades} flop, the Swede got through with yet another continuation bet of 85,000.

Full House For Wiesler

Jakub Slemar, Miltiadis Kyriakides and Bjorn Wiesler went to a flop of {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and a bet of 145,000 from Slemr saw just Wiesler make the call. They both checked the turn {q-Hearts} and river {6-Clubs}.

Wiesler showed {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a full house and won a smallish pot.

(Dec. 10, 2014) — The Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open (LHPO) returns to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida Jan. 22-Feb. 11, 2015 held in the resort’s ballrooms. The series will feature 21 main events along with several secondary events and qualifiers. The exciting live poker action culminates with the Seminole Hard Rock WPT Lucky Hearts $3 Million Guaranteed Championship February 5-11, with a $3,500 buy-in and six starting flights. The live-streamed Championship final table will be held at the resort’s Paradise Live theater in Seminole Paradise.

The annual series kicks-off on Jan. 22 at 11a.m. with a four-day $570 buy-in Deep Stack No-Limit Hold'em event featuring a $1 million guaranteed prize pool with six starting flights.

Super Bowl weekend will bring even more action with the WPTDeepStacks (WPTDS) which will kick-off its 2015 tour at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. WPTDS is a one-of-a-kind partnership between the world’s most established poker tour, WPT® and the world’s fastest growing poker tour, the DSPT. The $1,100 buy-in, $300,000 Guarantee WPTDeepStacks-Hollywood will start Jan. 29 at 12 p.m. in the resort’s ballrooms.

Satellite events for the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Jan. 22-Feb 10, 2015.

Selbst moved all in for 1,805,000 and Wiesler made the call after a moment’s thought.

Bertilsson Doubles Through Sperling

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Anton Bertilsson called a raise and then four-bet shoved into the squeeze of Fabio Sperling. The German snap-called with {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} but Bertilsson made a jack-high straight on the turn with {A-Spades} {10-Hearts} to stay in the tournament.

Remi Castaignon moved all in and Anton Bertilsson re-shoved.

Castaignon tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Bertilsson had {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

A run out of {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades} saw Castaignon double up.

Once Upon a Flop and Turn

Remi Castaignon raised to 85,000 and then folded to a three-bet of Francesco Grieco.

Davidi Kitai then shoved from the small blind into the big blind of Castaignon and the Frenchman folded.

Jonathan Wong took the blinds and antes with a raise to 100,000 before finally a flop and turn would be shown.

Anton Bertilsson raised to 100,000 from the small blind and Tamer Kamel called in the big blind. On the {7-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {3-Spades} flop, Kamel called a bet of 85,000 and did so again for 140,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn. The {K-Hearts} on the river triggered a bet of 500,000 by Bertilsson to put Kamel all in, the Brit folded.
