Alache Turns the Nuts Against Yankov

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a board of K574, there were over 10,000 in the middle when Oscar Alache checked from middle position and Krasimir Yankov bet 5,300 from the hijack. Alache then took some time before he gathered his chips into a single stack and moved them all into the center of the table. The all-in was for 14,700 and Yankov only needed a few seconds before he called.

Oscar Alache: 86 All in
Krasimir Yankov: KQ

Alache had turned the nuts and there was no card in the deck that could save Yankov. A Q on the river did improve the Bulgarian player, but it was in vain as Alache's straight was still best.

Punnat Punsri

Shashank Jain in the hijack opened to 1,000 and was called by Punnat Punsri in the cutoff. Christophe Panetti in the small blind however squeezed to 5,000. Punsri was the only one to call.

Panetti continued for 2,500 on a flop of 33Q and was called, then checked the J turn. Punsri checked back.

Panetti checked the A river once again, but saw Punsri almost moving all-in for 22,400, keeping a single chip worth 100 behind. Panetti went deep into the tank and eventually folded.

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With around 6,000 in the pot on a flop of 10QA, Fillipe Santos bet 1,600 from the button, then called when Olivier Machard moved all in for 8,900 in the small blind.

Olivier Machard: 54 All in

Colavita Hits 100,000

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Mario Colavita's stack has hit six figures after just taking down a small pot against Andre Akkari.

Akkari raised to 900 from early position and Colavita three-bet the cutoff to 2,700. When it got back to Akkari, he called.

The pair checked to the river on the KQ397 board, where Akkari check-folded to a bet of 4,800 from Colavita.

Florian Vogel is seated at the same table and has around 50,000, as is Jennifer Cassell, who isn't fairing quite as well as she is down to just 12,000.

Pereira Shoves Out Morag

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The action was picked up with Antonio Pereira having 3,900 out in front of him from the big blind and Shai Morag reraised to 10,900 from middle position. Pereira collected the chips together and called.

The flop came 8910 and both tapped the table to see the 9 fall on the turn. Pereira wasted little time in shoving, and Morag asked for the count. Upon learning that it was 21,900, Morag leant back in his chair and thought about it for a while before he decided to fold.

Naegelen Leaves De Souza on Fumes

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Kevin Naegelen
Kevin Naegelen

Kevin Naegelen in the hijack and Arthur De Souza under the gun got into a pre-flop raising war has they each put all their chips in the middle.

Kevin Naegelen: AK All in
Arthur De Souza: QQ

It was a classic flip, and Naegelen moved in front on the 9A2 flop. The rest of the board ran out 89 and De Souza quickly walked away from the table and was prepared to make his exit from the tournament. A count of the stacks, though, showed he had Naegelen's 22,900 covered by just 1,000, and he had to be called back to the table.

Dupré Hits a Pair

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 7910, Julien Dupré in the cutoff and Alejandro Castillo in the big blind checked to find the A turn where Dupré bet 1,500. Castillo check-raised to 6,000 and Dupré quickly called.

On the 8 river, Castillo bet 10,000 and Dupré snap-called. Castillo could only show 5x3x, so Dupré won the pot with J10.
