Hrabec Among the Next Casualties; Danchev's Bounty to be Split

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Andre Marques
Andre Marques

Roman Hrabec defended the small blind and got it in after a {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, turning over the {k-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush draw. He was looked up by Bruno Volkmann with the far covering stack and he turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

Ace-king high remained ahead on the {j-Diamonds} turn and {3-Diamonds} river to eliminate Hrabec, who was joined on the rail shortly after by Dimitar Danchev. The elimination of the latter was part of a three-way all-in when Danchev's short stack was covered by Andre Marques and Tom Vogelsang.

Dimitar Danchev: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Tom Vogelsang: {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Andre Marques: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

"We need hearts? An ace will do," Marques mentioned in table chat. Sure enough, the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop gave Vogelsang and Marques two pair. Danchev couldn't catch up on the {q-Clubs} turn and {3-Hearts} river to become the next casualty. Since both opponent had the Bulgarian covered, they will split whatever bounty envelope gets drawn.
