Davlet Takes From Heung

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Wayne Heung bet 7,000 from middle position on the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop and called when Eldos Davlet check-raised to 21,000 from the big blind.

Davlet led out for 16,000 on the {a-Hearts} turn, and Heung made the call to see the {9-Spades} river. Davlet fired again for 25,000, and Heung took a few minutes before making the call and tabling his hand.

Heung showed {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} but was second best to Davlet's flopped straight with {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} as the dealer slid the pot in Davlet's direction.

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ladislao Dalfo Batlle
Ladislao Dalfo Batlle

Lei Wang opened to 6,000 from the hijack and Ladislao Batlle moved all in for about 22,500 in the cutoff. Action folded back to Wang who called.

Ladislao Batlle: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Lei Wang: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop didn't change anything and neither did the {9-Clubs} turn. Batlle needed an ace or king to survive as the dealer put paint onto the felt, but it was the {q-Hearts} to complete the board, and Batlle was eliminated.

Euan Mcnicholas
Euan Mcnicholas

From middle position, Euan McNicholas raised to 5,000 and action folded around to the big bling, Nils Pudel, who slid out a three-bet of 17,500. McNicholas, covered by Pudel, took his time before reraising all in and Pudel quickly called.

McNicholas sighed as he saw his opponent's hand and awaited his fate.

Euan McNicholas: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Nils Pudel: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and McNicholas stood up from his seat, needing one of the remaining two queens in the deck.

The turn {7-Spades} and river {5-Diamonds} were no help to McNicholas and he was eliminated.

The duo checked the {10-Diamonds} turn to the {a-Spades} river and Sklenicka checked. Ullereng moved out a bet of roughly 60,000 and Sklenica sent his cards into the muck.

Soutavong checked before Hrabec continued for 15,000. Therme was the only caller to the {7-Diamonds} turn, where both remaining players checked to the {k-Hearts} river.

Hrabec led out for 28,000 chips, and Therme took some time before laying down his hand.

Blind on blind Ole Schemion was facing an all in from Jamie Nixon for 108,500. Schemion came into the start of the day as chip leader and after a healthy period on feature, he's remained atop the pile.

He eventually called with {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Nixon turned over {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

The board came {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds} with Schemion unable to resist a celebratory tap of the table as Nixon was eliminated.

"I can't call jacks," said tablemate Masaaki Maruyama.

"Yes," replied Schemion. "But it's me."

Yiannis Liperis
Yiannis Liperis

On Table 15 Yiannis Liperis, from under the gun, opened the action by announcing "all in" for his remaining 20,000 chips.

Action folded around to the big blind, Nicola D'Anselmo, who threw in a single chip to indicate a call, putting Liperis at risk.

Yiannis Liperis: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Nicola D'Anselmo: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} with both players catching a piece of the board.

The turn came {9-Clubs} pairing the board, and the river was the {3-Clubs}.

Liperis raked the pot with a better two pair.
