Ayras Out, Schemion In, Eibinger Re-Enters

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Karmatckii Scores a Double KO

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Arsenii Karmatckii opened to 4,500 from under the gun and George Wolff stuck in his last 8,000 from middle position. Matthias Eibinger raised to 42,000 in the big blind, leaving just 3,000 chips behind. Karmatckii announced all in and Eibinger obliged.

Arsenii Karmatckii: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
George Wolff: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop of {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} gave Karmatckii a set of tens and a stranglehold on the hand. The {3-Hearts} on the turn meant Eibinger was already drawing dead and the {q-Diamonds} on the river secured the pot for Karmatckii.

Aido Shoves on Kobayashi

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Thomas Boivin opened to 4,500 in the cutoff and Hirokazu Kobayashi three-bet to 15,000 on the button.

Sergio Aido had already built up an above-average stack and ripped it in for around 150,000. Boivin folded.

Kobayashi used a time extension before eventually folding, and the Spaniard took down the pot.

Meanwhile, Michael Soyza and Arsenii Karmatckii have become the latest players to join the field, bringing the total number of entries so far to 31.

Chidwick Gets a Full Double Up

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 3,500 in the hijack and Luuk Gieles called from the big blind. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Gieles check-called a bet of 3,000 from Chidwick.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {q-Spades} on the river. Gieles led out with a pot-sized bet of 15,500 and Chidwick moved all in for 32,000. Gieles made the call and Chidwick tabled {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a full house, good enough to beat Gieles' {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Plesuv Waits for the River

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Steve O'Dwyer raised it up in the cutoff and Pavel Plesuv defended from the big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and both players checked to the {6-Spades} on the turn.

Plesuv checked again and O'Dwyer made a bet of 3,500. Plesuv called and the {a-Hearts} completed the board. Plesuv checked for the third time and O'Dwyer bet 8,500. Plesuv check-raised to 35,500 this time and O'Dwyer mucked his cards.

Sirzat Hissou
Sirzat Hissou

On a {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} river, Sirzat Hissou had bet 25,500 into a pot of 50,000. His opponent was Matthias Eibinger who used three time extensions before folding.

Hissou sits on double starting stack, with no one at the table - not even newly registered Jean-Noel Thorel - above starting stack.

Aido Out-Flops Dvoress

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Sergio Aido raised it up from the cutoff and Daniel Dvoress stuck in a three-bet from the big blind. Aido called and the dealer spread the flop of {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Dvoress continued with a bet and Aido called to see the {q-Clubs} on the turn.

Dvoress fired out another 22,000 into a pot of over 40,000 but Aido still called. The river was the {5-Clubs} and Dvoress finally checked. Aido quickly checked it back and Dvoress showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Aido tabled {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the only pair and was awarded the pot.
