Dvoress Doubles Through Buonanno

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Daniel Dvorress reentered the tournament and then got short again, eventually putting his last 30,200 at risk preflop. Antonio Buonanno called with the {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds} but had the weaker kicker compared to the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} of his opponent. The board ran out {2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} and the kicker played.

Lodden and Sahamies Bust in Consecutive Hands

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Ilari Sahamies
Ilari Sahamies

In a three-way pot to the {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} river, Johnny Lodden got his stack in with {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Ilari Sahamies got out of the way but was left very short while Vlado Banicevic snap-called with the {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for quads deuces.

One hand later, Sahamies was all in for what looked like 15,000 and Frederik Jensen called with {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Sahamies improved with his {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} after the flop fell {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Jensen already grabbed the chips for the double up. The {3-Diamonds} turn blanked as well, but the {A-Clubs} river sent Sahamies to the rail.

Chidwick Lit On Fire

Level 6 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened, Connor Drinan three-bet to 13,000 and Chidwick pushed in for 111,000 total.

It took some time, but Drinan made the call with {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and was flipping versus Chidwick's {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

Things got bad for Chidwick on the {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and did not improve through the {7-Diamonds} turn and {3-Spades} river. Drinan is now up near the top of the counts and Chidwick has exhausted all his chances for re-entry.

Astapau: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Thorel: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Astapau was also gone for good.

Pahuja: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Muehloecker: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Silver Gone for Good

Level 6 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

The seat that formerly belonged to Max Silver is now occupied by another player and Salman Behbehani confirmed his elimination. Ramin Hajiyev's decent start also quickly vanished and so did his chips, eventually sending the rest over to Gilbert Diaz.

Martin Finger was already short after a big previous hand and busted, Tom Hall also just walked out of the tournament area. Whilw Hajiyev, Hall and Finger can still reenter, Silver cannot as he already was on the second bullet.
