Simmer Wins Multi-Way Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With 6,000 in the middle to the K85 flop, the action checked to Ralf Rogov and he bet 1,500. Torleiv Gronbech check-called and Ivar Simmer then check-raised to 5,400. All his opponents folded and Simmer grinned a "thank you" while collecting the pot.

One hand later, an open raise to 1,100 saw Gronbech jam his short stack of 11,000 and that got through uncontested.

Bjorkheim Chips Up With Quads

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Keimo Suominen raised the button and called a three-bet to 6,000 by Anders Bjorkheim in the big blind. On the J43 flop, Bjorkheim seized down to 2,000 for Suominen to call. He then checked the J turn and check-called Suominen's bet of 5,500. They checked the 6 on the river and Bjorkheim tabled the JJ for quads.

"I was lucky, if you push I have to call," Suominen said in table chat.
