Weng Folds Out Cannuli on the River

Thomas Cannuli opened to 30,000 on the button and Bin Weng defended his big blind.

On the K♦J♠10♦ flop, Weng check-called a bet of 25,000 from Cannuli.

The turn brought the 2♥ as Cannuli bet again for 55,000, and Weng called once more.

On the A♥ river, Weng opted to lead with the four-liner on board for 135,000, sending Cannuli into the tank. Nearly three minutes would roll off the clock before he folded 2♠2♦ face up for a turned set, and Weng collected the pot, giving nothing away in the process.

Daniel Amsalem raised to 70,000 in the hijack and Giorgi Arveladze called in the big blind. Arveladze then shoved all in for 760,000 on the 9♣2♦8♣ flop, and Amsalem practically beat him into the pot.

Arveladze showed top pair, but Amsalem was ahead with his queens. The turn, though, brought the 10♣ to give Arveladze two pair.

"I knew this!" he shouted out as the 6♥ fell on the river to earn him the massive double up. "Sorry," he said to Amsalem.

"It's okay. It's the game," Amsalem replied.

A few hands later at this table, Tanupat Punjarojanakul and Giuseppe Lomuscio went to the river on a board of 3♥7♦K♦K♥8♥ when Lomuscio bet 100,000 from the small blind. Punjarojanakul then raised to 250,000 in the big blind, and Lomuscio called.

Punjarojanakul showed K♠3♠ for a full house, and Lomuscio mucked A♥10♥.

Justin Laudadio raised to 30,000 under the gun and was called by Daniel Amsalem called on the button. Giuseppe Lomuscio then three-bet to 130,000 in the small blind, and Laudadio moved all in for 340,000. Amsalem folded, while Lomuscio called.

"I folded the best hand," Amsalem said.

"I don't think you folded the best hand," Laudadio replied.

"Look at that, straight," Amsalem joked.

"I think you were drawing dead on the turn," tablemate Tanupat Punjarojanakul added. The J♣ fell on the river, and Laudadio doubled up.

Moll checked the 9♥8♦2♦ flop, and Kudrynskyy continued for 30,000. Golin quickly made it 70,000 and saw Moll put in calling chips before Kudrynskyy got out of the way.

Golin checked out of turn on the flush-completing Q♦ turn, and Moll seized the initiative, betting 55,000. Golin quickly folded.

Moll flashed the 8♠ and took in the pot.
