Childress Wakes Up With a Monster to Leave Hwang on Fumes

Robert Hwang raised to 500,000 under the gun and was called by Coleem Chestnut in the cutoff and Leo Saiag in the small blind. Derek Childress then three-bet to 2,000,000 in the big blind and Hwang moved all in. Chestnut and Saiag both folded, but Childress quickly called for 9,000,000.

Hwang had run right into Childress' aces, and the board ran out K♠6♣7♠Q♣J♥ to earn Childress the massive double up.
"Fourth time I've had them in the last hour and a half," Childress said.
"Stupid game," Hwang lamented as most of his stack vanished in one instant.
