Sacoff the Latest Across 200,000

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

It's going to be a race to the finish to claim tonight's chip lead as multiple players have over 200,000-400,000 chip stacks entering the final hour of play.

The latest is Derek Sacoff, who after Mark Goulding raised to 6,000 in the hijack and Steven Ruighaver called in the cutoff, he called behind on the button.

The trio saw a flop of {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Goulding bet 15,000. Ruighaver folded, but Sacoff came along.

On the {a-Hearts} turn, Goulding bet another 35,000 but was this time raised to 95,000 by Sacoff.

Goulding quickly folded and ceded the pot to Sacoff.

Macella Benefits Big from an "Oops"

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Justin Macella
Justin Macella

After an early position raise to 6,000, Justin Macella three-bet to 21,000 in middle position. The button then jammed for about 90,000, and after the original raiser folded, Macella called.

Button player: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Justin Macella: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

"Oops" said the button as the cards were turned over and he realized he would need a lot of help to survive.

The flop did bring most of that help as it came {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}, giving him a flush draw. But the {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} runout gave Macella a winning full house to put him back into the chip lead.

Durden Joins the Contenders

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Picking action up on the flop with several thousand in the middle, Chad Deberry checked in the big blind to Cody Durden in the cutoff who bet 6,000. Seville hale called on the button and Deberry check-raised to 25,000.

Deberry now moved all in and Durden called, slightly covered by Deberry with about 90,000. hale folded to leave the pot heads-up.

Cody Durden: {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Chad Deberry: {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Deberry would need to fill up his two pair against Durden's straight, but the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} runout changed nothing, giving the large pot to Durden just before break.

Another Contender Emerges

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Michael Frierson
Michael Frierson

Two large towers of chips were just seen beside the Super Mario card protector of Michael Frierson, and he was kind enough to pass along the details of the huge hand that earned him those towers.

As told by Frierson, he raised in early position to 4,500 and got called by the button and the big blind.

On the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, the big blind and Frierson checked to the button who bet 20,000. The big blind then moved all in for about 30,000, and Frierson moved all in for 60,000 effective, the value of the button's stack.

The button called off and two players were at risk versus Frierson.

Big Blind Player: {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Button Player: {a-}{10-}
Michael Frierson: {q-}{q-}

The turn and river brought blanks and Frierson eliminated the players to boost his stack well over 250,000.
