2026 WSOP Day 39 - ODB Bonus Player Andrew Moreno Chip Leads Event #79; Lots of 25K Players in $10K 8-Game Championship
Day 39 of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) will see Day 3 of Event #78: $600 Deepstack Championship NLH play out. Just 50 players from a 5,177-entry field remain, though none of them are 25K Fantasy or ODB Bonus players.
.
That’s not the case for Day 3 of Event #79: $3,000 Freezeout NLH, which is down to the final 14 players from a 1,792-entry field. ODB Bonus player Andrew Moreno leads the pack, while Chris Moorman (Team Fleyshman) is also still alive.
Over in Event #80: $10,000 8-Game Championship, a dozen players from a 199-player field remain, including Brian Rast (Team Stake Kings), Alex Foxen (Team Lady Gaga), Matt Vengrin (Team Glue Factory), Bryn Kenney (Team DNegs), Maksim Pisarenko (Team Glue Factory), David “ODB” Baker (Team Stake Kings), and ODB Bonus player Ryan Miller.
Meanwhile, the $10,000 WSOP Main Event got underway yesterday with Day 1A, and unfortunately, the following fantasy-related players saw their dreams cut short – Jared Bleznik, Frank Funaro, David Bach, Nick Seward, Dan Smith, Chad Eveslage, Seth Davies, Tyler Phillips, Toby Lewis, Tony Dunst, Jake Schwartz, and Adrian Mateos.
How to Follow the Action
Remember, PokerNews has been tracking $25K Fantasy players in our live updates and has even made it simple to follow the action by tagging all players with either a 25K Fantasy or ODB badge. That allows you to utilize our chip count filter option to follow only those players (just tick the 25K Fantasy or ODB badge); what’s more, each blog will have a “25K Fantasy” tab that if you click all you will see are hands played by 25K Fantasy players.
