Matt Grapenthien is an American poker player and World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner with over $1.5 million in live earnings as of June 2026.
Grapenthien won a WSOP bracelet in the 2014 $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship for $268,473 and finished runner-up in the same event two years later for $149,976.
A Chicago resident, Grapenthien played in music legend Steve Albini's home game alongside fellow bracelet winners Brandon Shack-Harris, Brian Hastings, and Jason Gola.
After cashing in three mixed game events at the 2026 WSOP, Grapenthien took down the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for his second bracelet and $415,648 in prize money.
