Frederic Normand

Biography

Frederic Normand is a Canadian poker player best known for winning Event #21: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.

Outlasting 1,092 opponents in a bracelet-awarding event is no mean feat, but Normand became this event's champion despite having never played a PLO8 tournament before! Normand had previously played Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments and a singular Big O tournament during his career, and decided to enter the $1,500 PLO8 event because he had selected himself for his $25K Fantasy Draft team and needed the point. It turned out to be an excellent decision because Normand collected $235,377 and his first WSOP bracelet.
