Christopher Alcindor is a Canadian poker player best known for winning his first bracelet at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Alcindor triumphed in Event #22: $1,500 Big O, topping a field of 2,150 entrants to win $387,110.
Alcindor was primarily an online poker player but began focusing his attention on live poker. He won $139,895 in 2024 and another $193,166 in 2025; these impressive numbers were bolstered by his wins in a pair of WSOP Circuit events.
Speaking to PokerNews shortly after becoming a bracelet winner, Alcindor said, "I finished 499th in the Main Event last year, but Hi-Lo is really my favorite," the champion elaborated, "People were asking me if I was going to play the Monster Stack or something else. And I was like 'No, I came here to play Hi-Lo.'"
"I cashed the PLO8 (72nd for $3,525), but Big O is my absolute favorite."
