Brent Gregory is an American poker player from Missouri who is best known for winning Event #28: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Gregory's victory earned him $204,140 and his first WSOP bracelet.
Although the tournament Gregory won only cost $600 to enter, its final table was stacked with elite-level poker talent; it was arguably the toughest $600 buy-in final table of all time. Gregory had to contend with Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen, Josh Reichard, and Maurice Hawkins; he beat the latter in a heads-up match.
"I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous," Gregory said to PokerNews when asked about the final table. "Foxen, Negreanu, Reichard, everybody. There were several better players than me at the table."
Gregory kept his cool and ultimately came out on top.
“It was awesome,” Gregory said. “I had thousands of people probably pulling for me today, so it feels pretty damn good.”
Prior to his bracelet win in 2026, Gregory had amassed more than $700,000 in live poker tournament earnings. He banked $120,000 for a runner-up finish in the Tournament of Champions bracelet event at the 2023 WSOP.
